The Winning Faith Choir, Mgbuoba was birthed on the 1st day of February, 2009 the same day the church started it's first service. Pioneer members came in from the mother church in D/Line and they included Pastor Emmanuel Isaiah, Deaconess Pat, Joyce Daniels (who later became its debut Choir Director), Deacon Austin Enato (Who succeeded Joyce), Sister Ify Daniel (Present Leader), Elizabeth Ken-Ugochukwu (Assistant Leader), Peter Archibong, Mummy Lizzy, Diann Martins, Eric Atakpa, Sister Olaide among others, most of whom are still serving in the choir to date. From the first day WFC Mgbuoba had all parts fully represented including the instrumentalists, and where able, with the dynamic leadership of the pioneer leader, to grow from strength to strength in our ministrations and impact the local assembly and beyond. Changes in Saturday rehearsal time from the traditional 3pm - 5pm/6pm to a new time period of 7am - 9am/10am was started by Mgbuoba choir under its pioneer leadership and the idea not only improved the participation/ general performance level of the team but soon spread to other branches of the ministry and even beyond the ministry due to its effectiveness and popularity among choristers. Today, the choir is aiming even higher to ensure yet greater participation such that His presence has greater impact in people's lives in their ministrations locally and internationally . This has led, among other strategies, to the opening of this praise worship blog to enable members and visitors of the blog draw daily from the freshness of His ever abiding Presence
